Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does my photo go to a server?

No. Cropping happens in your browser, on your own device. Nothing is uploaded.

Which size should I choose for Instagram?

For a regular post, 4:5 portrait (1080 × 1350 px) takes up the most space in the feed; square is 1080 × 1080 px. For a story, choose 9:16 (1080 × 1920 px). These sizes are ready under Social media.

Will I lose quality?

Not with PNG. With JPG and WebP you choose the quality yourself; 90 % is indistinguishable from the original. If you choose a social media size, the crop is scaled to those pixel dimensions.
